Build the skills to lead change in Indigenous procurement.
The Indigenous Procurement Micro Credential provides a practical, action focused learning experience for professionals committed to reconciliation and inclusive economic development. Over two days, participants explore Treaty obligations, Indigenous engagement models, and strategies for removing structural, interpersonal, and organizational barriers.
Through hands on activities and real world examples, we will discuss how to design, implement, and evaluate Indigenous procurement programs that are ethical, transparent, and community informed. Whether you’re updating existing procurement policies or building a new framework, this micro credential equips you to take meaningful steps toward supporting Indigenous participation and economic sovereignty.
Ideal for: government, non-profits, private sector, procurement specialists, leaders, HR, and anyone seeking to embed reconciliation in organizational practice.

Prerequisite: To attend this workshop, participants are required to have completed some form of Indigenous Engagement or Awareness Training prior to the session. Training completed through any recognized educational institution or organization is accepted; this is essential to ensuring meaningful and informed participation.
