Description
Manitoba has a vibrant economy that creates good jobs.
However, the province has difficulty in attracting and retaining youth, which contributes to both labour and skills shortages for many employers in the province.
The Government of Manitoba has asked Canada West Foundation (CWF), through a contract with Manitoba Chambers of Commerce to find ways that government and the business ecosystem can support the attraction and retention of young talent to the province. As part of their research, CWF has partnered with Léger to survey both employers and youth.
Join us on June 9 at 8:00AM at Fairmont Winnipeg to:
- Hear preliminary results from both the youth and employer surveys
- Discuss the challenges of attracting and retaining young talent, and
- Provide input to potential solutions
