Nicolas advises clients on technology projects and transactions, including arranging and procuring information technology services and software, as well as commercializing and licensing intellectual property. He works with a wide range of clients, from small to large businesses and government entities, helping them navigate the intricacies of IT outsourcing and procurement strategies, the successful implementation of digital transformations and getting the most out of their intellectual property.

Nicolas also has a background in general corporate/commercial practice that includes significant experience in the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance and compliance matters.

Before joining MLT Aikins, Nicolas completed his articles at a preeminent business law firm in Ottawa, serving high-tech and start-up clients. Nicolas is called to the Bar in Manitoba and Ontario and is fluent in English and French.
