About Us
The Manitoba Association of Women's Shelters Inc. (MAWS) is a collective association of 11 interpersonal and family violence shelters and 15 associate members. MAWS aims to provide leadership and support for organizations addressing Gender-based and Family violence. Its mandate includes uniting Manitoba shelters, fostering communication and offering a unified voice for those affected by violence. MAWS promotes public education, professional development and best practices.
