About Us
Centre of palaeontological research and Museum of Palaeontology. The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre hosts the biggest collection of fossil marine reptiles in Canada, and the biggest collection of the fossil bird Hesperornis in the world. It also hosts Bruce, the biggest mosasaur in display in the world, and the Official Fossil Emblem of Manitoba. The Centre manages a Museum and two properties at the Manitoba Escarpment with active dig sites and a Field and Research Station.
