Stu Clark Centre Exclusive Event Feat...

Description

What does it really take to grow — not just a business, but as a leader, problem-solver, and changemaker?

Join us for an inspiring and practical in-person fireside chat with Mike Fata, one of Manitoba’s most recognized entrepreneurs, as he shares 12 powerful lessons from his journey building Manitoba Harvest into a global health brand.

Moderating the conversation is Margaux Miller — a Global MC, TEDx Speaker, and proud Manitoban known for championing entrepreneurship and innovation on stages around the world.

Based on Mike’s book "Grow: 12 Unconventional Lessons for Becoming an Unstoppable Entrepreneur", this session will explore resilience, reinvention, and what it truly means to lead with purpose.

Event starts promptly at 11:30 AM (doors open at 11:15)

First 50 guests will receive a free copy of Mike’s book

Light lunch and coffee will be provided

Livestream available for those who RSVP but cannot attend in person

Whether you're just starting or scaling your venture, Mike’s story and strategies will challenge your assumptions, fuel your ambition, and help you turn obstacles into opportunities.

RSVP is required to attend or receive the livestream link.

Mike Fata is a best-selling author, investor, and acclaimed entrepreneur. In 1998, he co-founded Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods, leading the company through decades of growth—from humble beginnings to over $100M in revenue and a $419M strategic sale to Tilray in 2019.

After serving as CEO and Chairman, he turned his focus to nurturing new ventures through Fata & Associates, mentoring entrepreneurs, and advising on scaling and sustainable impact.

His debut book, Grow: 12 Unconventional Lessons for Becoming an Unstoppable Entrepreneur, shares powerful insights from his journey. As a lifetime member (and past chair) of both the Canadian Health Food Association and YPO?Manitoba, as well as host of the Founder to Mentor podcast, Mike brings over 25 years of leadership, resilience, and innovation to every conversation.

Manitoba is located on Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Territories and includes travel through communities who are signatories to Treaties 6 and 10. Manitoba is located on the ancestral land of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations, and is the Homeland of the Red River Métis. Northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce respects the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making and remains committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration. Acknowledging these original caretakers is a reminder of our unique heritage, our important relationships, and our obligations to and shared responsibilities with Indigenous peoples.
