Description

Small Business Forum: Manitoba’s AI Transition — Preparing Businesses for What’s Next

Our Small Business Forum welcomes Dan Blair, Research Partnerships & Innovation (RPI) at RRC Polytech to help you better understand AI for your business.

If you are starting to explore artificial intelligence and want a clearer understanding of what it means in practice, our discussion will focus on how your business can think about AI in a realistic way, including early considerations, questions to ask, and common challenges organizations face.

By the end of the forum, you’ll have a practical, business-focused understanding of AI and what some next steps could look like.

This event is part of the Manitoba AI Pathways, led by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce in partnership with The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and the wider Chamber network.

Manitoba is located on Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Territories and includes travel through communities who are signatories to Treaties 6 and 10. Manitoba is located on the ancestral land of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations, and is the Homeland of the Red River Métis. Northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce respects the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making and remains committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration. Acknowledging these original caretakers is a reminder of our unique heritage, our important relationships, and our obligations to and shared responsibilities with Indigenous peoples.
