Description

FOOD, FUEL & FERTILIZER BUSINESS SUMMIT: CONNECTING WESTERN CANADA BUSINESS TO THE WORLD
The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Food, Fuel, & Fertilizer Business Summit, in collaboration with the Alberta Chamber of Commerce, the BC Chamber of Commerce, and the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce.

While Saskatchewan has what the world wants, particularly as it relates to food, fuel, and fertilizer, it is also one of the most trade-dependent provinces in one of the most trade-dependent countries. As such, the NWPTA is key for Saskatchewan to attract and retain both foreign and domestic direct investment to grow its economy and maintain its high standard of living.

The Food, Fuel, & Fertilizer Summit will connect business and thought leaders, realize the opportunities for Western Canada to engage in the global economy specifically in relation to food, fuel and fertilizer and will showcase the advantages and resources of Western Canada as an investment destination.

Manitoba is located on Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Territories and includes travel through communities who are signatories to Treaties 6 and 10. Manitoba is located on the ancestral land of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations, and is the Homeland of the Red River Métis. Northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce respects the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making and remains committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration. Acknowledging these original caretakers is a reminder of our unique heritage, our important relationships, and our obligations to and shared responsibilities with Indigenous peoples.
