Description
From Resilience to Growth: The Future of Manitoba's Economy
As businesses continue to recover from a global pandemic, we are all facing increasing inflationary cost pressures compounded by ongoing supply chain challenges and an historic labour crunch affecting the skilled trades, retail and hospitality.
Many workplaces remain hybrid or remote, which some argue is hampering downtown revitalization. There is a growing need for upskilling to support technology advancements and new ways of working. And although women are embarking on entrepreneurial journeys at an increasing rate, not enough are taking advantage of available financing to support scale-up. These are challenging times.
Panelists include:
- Alison Kirkland – CEO, Women’s Enterprise Organizations of Canada
- Fred Meier – President & CEO, Red River Polytech
- Joelle Foster – CEO, North Forge Technology Exchange
- Andrew Enns – Executive Vice President - Winnipeg, Leger
Event registrations cannot be cancelled or refunded less than three (3) business days prior to a scheduled event (unless the cancellation is COVID-19 related), and cancellation/refund requests must be received by email to events@mbchamber.mb.ca. Cancellation/refund window closes September 26 for this event.
If an event is cancelled and rescheduled to another date, the MCC will automatically transfer all existing registrations to the new date. If the revised event date is less than three (3) business days from the original event, MCC will accept cancellation requests up to two (2) business days prior to the new date.
If an event is cancelled for reasons beyond the MCC's control and cannot be rescheduled to a later date, the MCC will refund or cancel all registrations as appropriate.
COVID-19 Cancellations
Although the MCC cannot refund registrations cancelled due to COVID-19 illness, registrants who cancel due to COVID-19 have the option to either transfer their registration to a colleague OR transfer their registration to a future event.
