Description

For senior leaders, communication is not just a skill—it’s a strategic advantage. Participants in this program are motivated to strengthen their ability to lead with influence and credibility under pressure. They seek to communicate complex ideas with precision, build lasting trust through authentic presence, and inspire alignment and action through every interaction.

Executive Edge™ equips senior leaders with a practical, structured approach to mastering high-impact communication at the executive level. Designed to elevate leadership effectiveness, this program develops skills in articulating vision, inspiring action, and navigating complex, high-stakes conversations with clarity, conviction, and presence. Participants will learn to craft focused, message-driven communications and strengthen their executive presence to engage diverse audiences authentically and confidently. Through reflection, proven frameworks, and hands-on practice, leaders will build a powerful communication toolkit—enabling them to lead with influence, foster alignment, and drive meaningful outcomes across their organizations.

This program addresses the key communication challenges that executive leaders face in high-stakes environments, including:

  • Difficulty articulating a clear, compelling vision that inspires and aligns diverse stakeholders.
  • Struggles to maintain presence and composure under pressure, undermining credibility and influence.
  • Challenges in delivering focused, message-driven responses during complex or unexpected conversations.
  • Ineffective navigation of sensitive or difficult questions that can derail trust and leadership impact.
At the conclusion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from the I.H. Asper School of Business’ James W. Burns Executive Education Centre.

Manitoba is located on Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Territories and includes travel through communities who are signatories to Treaties 6 and 10. Manitoba is located on the ancestral land of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations, and is the Homeland of the Red River Métis. Northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce respects the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making and remains committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration. Acknowledging these original caretakers is a reminder of our unique heritage, our important relationships, and our obligations to and shared responsibilities with Indigenous peoples.
