SUMMARY:RESCHEDULED: MBiz Breakfast feat. Provincial Budget Review with Honourable Cameron Friesen\, Minister of Finance
DESCRIPTION:Let's try that again!\n\n\n\nJoin the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce for our first in-person networking event in two years as we come together for an exclusive next-day review of Budget 2022 from Manitoba's recently re-appointed provincial Minister of Finance\, Honourable Cameron Friesen.\n\n\n\n"Budget 2022 is about strengthening our health-care system\, focusing on affordability\, finding ways to invest in our communities and protecting Manitoba's environment\," said Friesen. "We must continue to rebuild our economy and work toward resolving something that everyone is concerned about -- making life more affordable."\n\n\n\nThe Manitoba Chambers of Commerce believes that in order for our province to achieve the level of prosperity needed to take our economy to the next level\, the provincial government must increase its focus on economic growth and competitiveness in the budgeting process. As we begin to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic\, facing the highest inflation rates we've seen since 2008\, Manitoba is also deeply affected by workforce shortages and supply chain challenges\, and coming to terms with significant healthcare investments. Bottom line: the economy must be a driving force behind all decision-making. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you for breakfast on April 13 as we review provincial budget highlights with Minister Friesen\, followed by a moderated Q&A led by MCC President & CEO\, Chuck Davidson.\n\n\n\nREGISTER TODAY! Seats are limited.\n\n\n\nPlease read the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) in-person event policy here. This policy is subject to change based on prevailing Public Health orders and will be updated as necessary.\n\n	NEW: All registrants will be issued a QR code upon registration to be scanned by MCC staff at check-in upon arrival. To ensure each individual registrant receives a copy of their QR code\, be sure all registrants are selected to receive individual confirmation emails at the end of registration. Click here for an example. Please check your junk folders for these emails!\n	NEW: All registrants will receive a table assignment. Table assignments will not be changed.\n	Registration is limited to six (6) individuals per registration. If your organization wishes to register more than 6 guests\, you may complete more than one (1) registration.
