DESCRIPTION:Is Your Business Ready for Climate Change?\n\nBusiness Training and Discussion Forum + Launch of the Updated Climate Action Toolkit for Manitoba Business\n\n\n\nThe Manitoba Chambers of Commerce 2023 Climate Action Forum Series was designed to help build awareness & capacity and share experiences among Manitoba's small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) for enhancing resilience to climate change and achieving carbon reductions through their home game (operations and facilities) and away game (products and services offered). \n\n\n\nIn collaboration with Novel Futures\, the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA)\, and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD)\, we were pleased to offer several virtual and in-person opportunities to engage with SMEs\, organizations\, and local governments\, where participants learned new approaches and shared what they are doing to assess climate risk & build resilience\, reduce carbon emissions via the circular economy\, and use nature-based solutions.\n\n\n\nAt this event\, we will reflect on what we have heard from participant businesses throughout the Climate Action for Business series and launch the updated Climate Action Toolkit for Manitoba Business which includes:\n\n\n\n1. Resources to Get Started   primers\, checklists\, and guides\;\n\n2. Climate Action by Manitoba Business   examples\, feature cases\, communications guide for businesses\;\n\n3.
