SUMMARY:2022 Steinbach Chamber Lunch & Learn - Corporate Wellness
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we learn from Jayce Van Alstyne of Fitness On The Go about 'Corporate Wellness - Empowering Your Workplace & Community.'\n\n \n\nOur physical and mental health is at the center of our existence\, guiding and influencing every decision we are able to make from day to day. Yet\, how many of us can truly say that we prioritize time\, energy\, and money towards keeping our body and mind functioning at peak performance? The goal of corporate wellness is to educate\, equip\, and empower employees\, employers\, and their family members to adopt a healthier lifestyle that brings joy and fulfillment to everyone involved.\n\n \n\nFor example: A short yet effective 30 minutes allotted for exercise followed by 30 minutes of distraction free lunch can then accomplish many things\, including:\n\n	More productivity for remainder of the day\n	Better mood with customers & co-workers\n	Increased serotonin\, decreased cortisol which can improve decision-making & problem-solving abilities\n	Fewer sick days & absenteeism\n	Improved concentration & ability to focus on tasks with deadlines\n	Saves the company money for health related expenses related to sick days\, hospital visits\, drug coverage\, & other chronic disease health appointments\n\nJoin us to learn about different ways to prioritize wellness for your workplace and the benefits that can extend to your home and community!\n\n \n\n**Please contact us with any allergies or dietary needs at info@steinbachchamber.ca. \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Jayce Van Alstyne\n\nFrom a young age\, Jayce noticed a problem that concerned him - the staggering amount of people who had lost touch with their own body and mind. Such an important part of life\, and yet so often overlooked\, or pushed down on our list of priorities. Jayce decided he wanted to help turn things around and has been an ambassador of keeping the body and mind active ever since. \n\n\n\nHe has helped a 14 year old athlete train for the Canada games\, helped a middle-aged divorcee lose 20 pounds and boost her confidence\, and is currently working with an 85 year old man who wants to complete a pull-up by years end. These people have found success with Jayce's training style and you can too!\n\n\n\n"I believe that with my help\, you can take control of your life today to ensure a more prosperous tomorrow!"\n\n- Jayce\, CSEP - Certified Personal Trainer\; Bachelor of Kinesiology\; Precision Nutrition Certified Level 1 Coach
